Precious Metals Tracking System

The reliability of precious metal products rests not only on their fineness and weight, but also on each product being registered and traceable.

At GMR Genç Metal Rafineri, we carry out the registration and tracking of our KMTS products as an integrated part of our production processes.

We link the records created at each production stage with product information, treating marking, packaging and KMTS procedures as complementary steps. This allows every product leaving production to be identified and matched with its records.

We manage our KMTS integration together with the software infrastructure that tracks material and production across our facility. By systematically recording the fineness, weight and production details of every product, we strengthen traceability and carry our transparent approach to production through to the finished product.

Verificationin three steps

  1. Scan the QR code

    Scan the QR code on the back of the card with your phone camera.

  2. Compare the serial number

    Compare the serial number on screen with the number printed on the card.

  3. View the record

    Review the product's weight, fineness and production record.

What is KMTS?

The Precious Metals Tracking System (KMTS) is operated by the Turkish State Mint (Darphane ve Damga Matbaası Genel Müdürlüğü). Each product made by a refinery is recorded with its production date and place, weight, fineness and serial number under a product-specific code issued by the Mint.

Which products are registered?

Bars and minted precious metals sold in Türkiye must be registered in KMTS; silver in granule form is outside this scope. You can check a product's record by scanning the security label on its packaging with the KMTS app.

What if the QR code will not scan?

Contact us with the serial number and we will check the record for you.
